Your Right to Deletion

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data from Diaspora Flows at any time. This includes your account information, listening history, and any content you have uploaded to the Platform.

If you signed in with Facebook or Instagram via Meta and wish to remove the data Diaspora Flows received through that connection, this page provides the instructions Facebook requires us to make available.

How to Delete Your Account and Data

You have two options:

• From within the app (fastest): Sign in to your account → go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This immediately deactivates your account and queues all personal data for deletion within 30 days.
• By email: Send a request to privacy@diasporaflows.ai with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and the email address associated with your account. We will confirm receipt within 48 hours and complete deletion within 30 days.

What Gets Deleted

Upon a verified deletion request, we will permanently remove:

• Your name, email address, and profile picture
• Your listening history and saved playlists
• Your subscription and payment records (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Any messages or community posts associated with your account
• Your social sign-in connection records

What We Must Retain

We are required by law to retain certain financial records for a minimum period, including royalty payment records and tax documentation. These records are anonymized and disconnected from your identity where possible.

Creator content (tracks you uploaded) will be removed from public streaming immediately upon account deletion. Royalties earned and unpaid at the time of deletion will be paid out to the payment method on file within 60 days.

Confirmation and Timeline

• We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours
• Deletion will be completed within 30 days
• You will receive an email confirmation when deletion is complete
